Privacy Policy

What VarsityForce collects, why it is used, and how account choices work.

Information we collect

If you create a free account, we collect your email address and basic sign-in information. If you use Google sign-in, Google sends us your verified email address and basic profile information needed to create or find your VarsityForce account.

We may also store actions you take on the site, such as saved opportunities, "more like this," "not for me," issue reports, viewed listings, search filters, and notes you submit with a report issue form.

When you are signed in, we record return visits and basic traffic patterns so we can understand unique visitors, repeat visitors, and regular usage. For security, abuse prevention, and product analytics, signed-in visit records may include IP address, browser user-agent, approximate country or network routing signals, and derived device/browser/operating-system categories.

How we use information

We use account and activity information to keep your saved list, improve recommendations, tune ranking, identify bad or expired listings, reduce duplicates, and understand what opportunity types users want us to source and validate.

External opportunity links

Many listings on VarsityForce link to outside organizations, employers, public agencies, schools, nonprofits, or job boards. When you leave VarsityForce, the outside site's privacy policy and terms apply. We do not control those sites.

Students and younger users

VarsityForce is designed for students and early-career users, but it is not intended for children under 13. Users under 18 should use VarsityForce with a parent, guardian, school counselor, or trusted adult when applying for opportunities or sharing personal information with outside organizations.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to operate the service, comply with law, protect users, or work with service providers that help us run authentication, email delivery, hosting, analytics, or security.

Cookies and sign-in

We use cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember interface choices, support account actions, and understand site performance. You can clear cookies in your browser, but some account features may stop working until you sign in again.

Data choices

You can choose not to create an account and still browse public listings. If you want account information deleted or corrected, contact us from the email address connected to the account.
