Leonardtown Library Makerspace, with a Cricut Maker, button maker, Cricut Mug Press, 3D pens, Memory Lab, and sewing machines
Lexington Park Makerspace, including a Cricut die-cutting machine and an art corner with watercolor, collage, sketching, and painting supplies
Makerspace equipment is generally available on a first-come, first-served basis; some equipment requires training, certification, and staff approval
Customers age 14 and older may use the Makerspace without an adult; younger customers must have an adult present

Free 3D printing service is available at all library locations; customers submit a design, the Library prints it, and the customer picks it up when notified
The Library has Prusa 3D printers, including MK3S and MK4S models; printing uses PLA filament and supports .stl, .3mf, and .obj files
3D-print files may be up to 15 MB, with an approximate maximum build volume of 9 × 8 × 8 inches and an eight-hour maximum print time
3D printers are operated by Library staff only

The Leonardtown Makerspace has a Cricut Maker 3 electronic die-cutting machine, Cricut Heat Press, iron-on vinyl, and heat-transfer vinyl (HTV)
Cricut Maker 3 instruction includes Cricut Design Space, and the equipment can cut iron-on vinyl and apply it to fabric with the Cricut Heat Press
Customers using the Cricut during open hours must have their own Cricut Design Space account and bring their own material

Sewing machines and sewing tools are available during Leonardtown Makerspace open hours; customers must bring their own material
Sewing Machine 201: Zipper Bag is for teens and adults, requires basic sewing-machine experience, and provides all class materials
Common Thread at the Lexington Park Makerspace welcomes knitters, crocheters, quilters, embroiderers, cross-stitchers, and other needleworkers; walk-ins and all skill levels are welcome
Sunflower Stitch teaches basic embroidery and layering techniques to create felt sunflower hoop art

Tracks and Stacks provides hands-on building play for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and lower-elementary children using train tracks and magnets

Tween-Teen Thursdays at Lexington Park Library alternate art activities on the second Thursday and STEM activities on the fourth Thursday; no registration is required
Video Game Drop In at the Leonardtown Makerspace is for ages 12–18 and provides one Nintendo Switch and controllers; games include Mario Kart, Nintendo Switch Sports, and Just Dance
